We love to walk! A few of our favorite neighborhoods to explore in downtown Manhattan: Tribeca, West Village, Greenwich Village, Lower East Side

Tribeca

Walk along Hudson River Park down to Battery Park

Visit Staple Street Skybridge (where John proposed!)

 

Ice Cream at Van Leeuwen

(John’s order: vanilla with rainbow sprinkles;

Rachel’s order: vegan chocolate fudge brownie)

 

Coffee (or matcha) and daily provisions at Rigor Hill, Laughing Man, Duane Street Patisserie, or Frenchette Bakery

 

Visit the Ghostbusters Firestation — don’t get slimed!

 

Enjoy the view and grab a drink at the rooftop bar at The Walker Hotel

 

Gallery hop

Shop at Nili Lotan! (Rachel’s place of employment)

Walk over the Brooklyn Bridge — great for photos and counting steps

 

Visit the World Trade Center Memorial 

 

Lunch or dinner at The Odeon. Other favorite restaurants in Tribeca: Gigino’s, Tiny’s, Locanda Verde, and Bubby’s. For the budget-conscious: Benvenuto, Nish Nush, and Edward’s

 

Reserve a soak at AIRE Ancient Baths

Take a group class at Real Pilates
